Sarangani is a province of the Philippines located in the SOCCSKSARGEN region in Mindanao. Its capital is Alabel and borders South Cotabato to the north and Davao del Sur to the east. To the south lies the Celebes Sea, while it sandwiches at the center the highly urbanized city of General Santos.
The province is divided into two parts, separated by the Sarangani Bay, and it used to be part of South Cotabato until it was made an independent province in 1992.

GUMASA RESORT

The province of Sarangani is not only famous because it is represented in congress by the world’s pound-for-pound boxer Manny Pacquiao; it is also fast becoming a popular vacation spot most especially the municipality of Glan. The white sand beaches of Glan are definitely world-class and also boast its rich marine life. There are around 2000 species of marine life such as mackerel, yellow fin tuna and shipjack just to name a few. It is best to visit the place during the cool months of November until January.
Glan is called as the Boracay of the South because the powdery white sand beaches are comparable to the ones seen in Boracay beaches. Visitors may also explore the caves and feel closer to nature with the wonderful view of clear waterfalls. There are also century old architectural sites to visit. There are simply a lot of things that visitors can do they explore the grandeur of Glan in Sarangani.

ISLA JARDIN

Isla Jardin del Mar is actually one of the newer resorts in the area as it opened its doors only this January.

Isla Jardin Del Mar which literally means “Island Garden of the Sea” in Spanish is managed by Charlemagne “Wanchin” Tan-Delfino.  She gushes about how the provincial Governor Migs Dominguez and Glan Municipality Mayor Yoyong Yap were instrumental in the resort’s development with their provision for a road to be built from the highway to the beach.

Why that name?  Because if viewed from the air, Isla Jardin del Mar looks like a “peninsula connected to a small island… with the cottages and a restaurant floating over two separate white sand bars.”, according to the Sarangani Provincial Office P.R. The P.R. continues:  “The pinkish white shoreline stretches and curves 750 meters, which gives one an impression that the beachfront is part of a small island”.
There is a lagoon at the other side of the road and a fish pond is being readied for fishing hobbyists.  Mountain trek activities have been arranged for would-be nature enthusiasts and the views from the hills which serve as boundaries for the property should delight everyone. Just at the other side of the road is a lagoon.

Beaches in Misamis Occidental

Oklahoma Island Rafi's Beach Resort
The Oklahoma Island Rafi's Beach Resort is located in Sitio Cabgan in Barangay Punta Miray of Baliangao. The barangay is located in the northern tip of Misamis Occidental. Cabgan is divided into islets. In fact, the resort itself occupies four of the islets which are interconnected via a foot bridge made of bamboo. The longest among these bridges is about 30 meters long. Despite having its location far from the country's urbanized areas, electricity has reached the beach resort. Thus, the resort has both airconditioned and non-airconditioned rooms with each room having a capacity for four persons.

Misamis Occidental Aquamarine Park

Misamis Occidental Aquamarine Park  is a tropical resort and a prominent habitat for various marine mammals in Mindanao, Philippines. Located in the boundaries of municipalities of Tudela, Misamis Occidental and Sinacaban. Currently, it features a wildlife park that houses a wide array of animals, most are native to the Philippines. It also features hotel accommodations of hut-style suite cottages that line the mangroves. Two restaurants are located within the park itself, one on mainland and another on Dolphin Island. The main attraction is the offshore man-made island dubbed Dolphin Island, for its dolphin pens that house numerous types of Dolphin specie.

Duka BAy
A freshwater stream winds its way from behind the open-air restaurant, where one can savor an abundant variety of local and foreign cuisine. Using hook and line, visitors can experience the thrill of getting fish right from the stream. And for sports buffs, there are kayaks, bancas, water bikes, and gears for scuba diving.
Only a few meters from the shore is possibly the liveliest teeming coral community in Mindanao. Populated by colorful, tropical fish, and punctuated occasionally by a streak of turtles, the reef can be observed from Duka's glass bottom boats, which have become popular vehicles of marine education and entertainment. The site, which is a protected marine sanctuary, also has underwater spring and caves -- a must-see for amateur and professional divers alike.
Along the western side of the bay, partially submerged, is a gathering of large rocks. Ejected years ago from the fiery crater of Mt. Hibok Hibok in Camiguin Island, the boulders now sit in quiet meditation with the waves, so much like visitors of Duka Bay Resort, who have found in the place a wellspring that refreshes the body and the spirit.

Zamboanga del Sur

Natural Tourist Attractions

Lapuyan Falls
The favorite haunt of the fair Subanen maidens of Sitio Baga and all its neighboring areas, usual meeting place with many a young country swain in some secluded cavern beneath the rocky forest lane.

Lakewood
Some 15 km. from Brgy. Tubod is a beautiful mountain lake, on the banks of which is located the town of Lakewood, a quiet and lovely place where the air is heavy with the scent of wild champakas and the fragrance of a thousand nameless herons.

Lake Dasay
The second largest mountain lake in the province, located in the town of San Miguel. Its luscious mouth is parted like the smile of a country damsel yet silent fury lurks beneath its innocent-looking waters.
Lakes are interesting tourist attractions because they are quite uncommon. These bodies of water cannot be found in every town unlike rivers or streams. They are also quite mysterious because lakes are calm and serene unlike seas and oceans, which can become violent depending on the weather.

Dao-Dao Islands
A big island has an area of 1.1057 hectares and is a 7-10 minute ride by motorboat from the seaport. It has artificial coral reefs and is ideal for swimming, boating and fishing. A smaller, still underdeveloped, island is submerged during high tide and also ideal for swimming and fishing.

White Beach
A stretch of white sand beach just five minutes via motorboat southeast of the seaport. Clear, deep, blue waters (even at low tide) are ideal for swimming and diving.

Pulacan Falls
Found in the town of Labangan, 12 kms. from Pagadian City, and covering an area of 400 square meters. It is the source of water for the Labangan irrigation system. Two kilometers from the area is the 134-hectare Home Defense Center. The falls can be reached easily by any motor vehicle. With the opening of the PADAP road, Pulacan Falls became a beautiful camping and picinic site. It now has a permanent Boy and Girl Scout site with facilities and has been the location of regional and provincial jamborees.

Bomba Beach
Located in barangay Bomba, about 2 kms. from Pagadian proper, available for fishing and swimming with a bomba bridge and shed as well as a coral reef. Under study for development.
Saving a few bucks is another advantage to spending time in this location. Since it's close to the city proper, you don't have to spend a lot of money on transportation. Food will also be relatively cheap since affordable restaurants and the local market are only a few kilometers away.

Mt. Susong Dalaga
Found in barangay Lourdes, 32 kms. from Pagadian proper and 10 kms. from the barangay center, Susong Dalaga is a semi-perfect cone with good forest cover. It can be reached by horseback.

Lourdes Waterfalls
Also located at barangay Lourdes, about 32 kms. from Pagadian proper. Ideal for bathing and feel the nature..)))))))
